About us
Since 1953, Dr. Jean Bausch GmbH & Co. KG has specialized in manufacturing special articulating and occlusion test materials and offers an extensive range of different articulating papers and articulating films in different shapes, sizes and colours.
Bausch products are used in more than 120 countries and sold by distributors and the subsidiaries in the U.S.A., Australia, Japan, Brazil and Korea.
The new system OccluSense®, developed by Bausch combines the traditional and digital method of registration of the pressure distribution on occlusal surfaces. The OccluSense device is being used in combination with a 60 micron thin single-use pressure sensor, colour coated in red, and is being applied exactly like a conventional occlusion test foil. The patient's masticatory pressure distribution is being recorded digitally in 256 pressure levels being displayed with the OccluSense® iPad App. The traditional colour transfer on the occlusal surfaces facilitates the assignment of the recorded data.

Arti-Pink Wax
Arti-Pink Bite Wax by Bausch is used for precise bite registration and enables the exact reproduction of contours in the intercuspation. It is characterised by its excellent modelling properties. With a thickness of 3 mm, this extra hard wax is not only available as a 150 mm x 80 mm plate, but also in oval shape in the prefabricated sizes S, M and L.
Bausch Approximal Forceps BK 145
The Arti-Fol® forceps for approximal contacts, designed by Dr. Müller, is intended for the fast and accurate fitting of restorations. The innovative and user-friendly design makes the product far easier to handle compared to conventional test methods. The high clamping force of the forceps tightens the occlusion film on two sides and allows the dentist to carry out accurate contact correction. A film can be inserted quickly and easily. The tool does not have any cavities and can be disinfected and sterilized according to conventional methods. The Arti-Fol® forceps for approximal contacts is a German product and is manufactured from high-quality steel which guarantees a long life. Arti-Fol® 12µ metallic is also available in a width of 8 mm for use with the forceps.
